Applying Professional Scrum™ – 10-11 Nov 22

£900.00 excl. VAT

Course overview

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is a hands-on, activity based 2-day course in which students experience how Professional Scrum and the Scrum framework improve their ability to deliver value compared to traditional methods.  Scrum provides a better way of working that highlights the use of experimentation, incremental delivery of customer value, frequent feedback loops and the fostering of strong team dynamics.

The course provides an active learning environment for students to engage in discussion, team-based exercises, and individual reflection. During the course, students work in Scrum Teams over a series of Sprints to learn Scrum while using Scrum.  The course is designed to be domain-agnostic; it conveys the use of Scrum in any domain or industry with complex problems to solve.

The course also includes a free attempt at the globally recognised Professional Scrum Master I certification exam (PSM I).

Ask a question

Scrum.org provides the highest quality Scrum training, training materials and certified Professional Scrum Trainers (PSTs) to teach them. Our training materials are created and maintained by Scrum co-creator Ken Schwaber, Scrum.org and the PST community members who teach the courses, helping to ensure that they are in tune with what’s happening in software development organisations and always up-to-date with the latest practices.

Professional Scrum Trainers bring their own style and experience to the courses, but use the same materials so that students are learning from the same content regardless of who teaches the course or where it is taught around the world. Read more about about the differences.

The price includes course materials, the PSM I assessment, lifetime certification from Scrum.org and a 40% discount on the PSM II assessment.

The PSM I certification is achieved by taking and passing an online assessment in your own time following the course. It can be taken from any internet connected computer.

The PSM I assessment is comprised of 80 multiple choice questions that must be completed in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 85%. The course fee provides up to 2 attempts at the PSM I assessment.

Courses start at 09:00 and finish at 17:00 each day.

The only preparation required is to read the Scrum Guide.
